Private Advisors, LLC ("Private Advisors" or the "Firm") was formed in January 1997 to provide investment services to institutions and high net worth individuals interested in alternative assets. The Firm focuses on the management of hedge and private equity fund of funds products, specializing in absolute return, long/short equity, and various private equity strategies. Private Advisors' goal is to use its extensive investment and manager selection experience, "buy-side" perspective, and network of industry contacts to identify and invest in attractive alternative strategies and managers. This experience is coupled with disciplined and rigorous due diligence, portfolio construction, and an on-going monitoring and risk management process. The Firm believes that this investment approach will produce performance with low correlations to traditional asset classes and will ultimately generate superior risk-adjusted returns for its clients. Private Advisors is registered as an investment adviser with the Securities and Exchange Commission and as a commodity pool operator and commodity trading advisor with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The Firm is qualified as a QPAM for ERISA purposes.
