What Is Préma-Québec?
Préma-Québec's mission is to improve the quality of life of premature children by helping their parents with educational, financial and psychological resources, according to their needs. THE only organization that supports both directly and indirectly parents of preemies. Each year, 8% of births occur prematurely in Quebec. Prema-Quebec was created in 2003 by parents of premature children. The organization is supported by all stakeholders working in neonatology as well as the two levels of Canadian government. Préma-Québec is permanently present in all neonatal intensive care units (NICU) in Quebec.
