Planet Water Foundation, is a US based, non-profit organization committed to bringing clean water to the world's most disadvantaged communities through the installation of community-based water filtration systems and the deployment of hygiene education programs. Planet Water projects are focused on children, schools, and rural communities across the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America. Access to clean drinking water is a pressing issue with 663 million people across the globe lacking access to clean water. Water poverty is a cross cutting issue that not only has an impact on health but also has significant implications for education, gender equity, and social wellbeing. To address this critical need, Planet Water has deployed more than 1,300 clean water and hygiene education projects across 15 countries since 2009, serving more than 2 million children and community members.
