What Is Piritahi?

Piritahi, which means ?to be together? in Te Reo, is an alliance of the country?s most capable infrastructure planners and deliverers. We streamline land development, laying the groundwork for neighbourhoods that are better to live in and homes that are more affordable. The alliance was established to deliver the civil works required as part of HLC?s large scale urban regeneration projects. Piritahi prepares land for development and manages and delivers new and upgraded infrastructure and amenity. HLC is our sole client and a member of the alliance. We are working in the Auckland Housing Programme development areas where Housing New Zealand-owned land is being better utilised for new, warm, dry, healthy homes ? both state and market. The alliance was established in late 2018 and will deliver $1b worth of civil works over a five-year period. Piritahi?s member companies are: Dempsey Wood Civil (construction) Harrison Grierson (survey, design, consenting) Hick Bros Civil (construction) HLC (masterplanning) Tonkin + Taylor (environmental engineering) Woods (engineering, surveying, planning)
