Permali Gloucester Ltd. was founded in 1937 and is a world leader in the manufacture of composite materials for the aerospace, defence, rail, marine and medical markets. Permali Gloucester Limited manufacture Permaglass composite materials in the form of laminated sheets, mouldings and sandwich panels. In addition, we supply Tuftane polyurethane films and Plasticell foams. Whilst providing the traditional benefits of composites such as high strength to weight ratio, corrosion resistance and RF/magnetic transparency, Permali Gloucester specialise in high specification materials offering: Superb fire resistance with low smoke and toxic fume emissions. Ballistic properties for armour applications. High surface tracking resistance for high voltage applications. Low thermal conductivity for insulating applications. We operate from a 10,500 sqm. (115,000 sq.ft.) factory containing pressing, molding, assembly and CNC machining facilities, in addition to CAD design, inspection and testing.
