What Is Pasco Ranch and Home?
Ranch and Home, INC. has been locally owned and operated in the Tri-Cities area for over 35 years. Starting with our Pasco location in 1974, providing clothing, equipment and supplies primarily to area farmers, we quickly expanded to serve the needs of farmers, ranchers and homeowners throughout the region, opening our 2nd store, across the river in Kennewick in December 1999. While living in Albert Lea, Minnesota, George Dress started investigating different areas for building a farm supply store. In Pasco, Washington, he found all the elements he was looking for; a growing economy and agriculturally based area with an airport. In 1974, George built Pasco Ranch & Home Supply. He ran it remotely from Albert Lea for approximately 14 years. The store started with 15,000 square feet and an average of 37 customers a day. In 1988, the store was sold to a restaurant chain. When the owner wanted to sell in 1990, they contacted George. George and his two sons, Bill and Jeff, purchased the store and began a family partnership. At that time, Bill moved out from Albert Lea to run the store. They added on an additional 15,000 square feet to the store. Around 1992, George, his wife Mary and son Jeff, moved to Pasco from Albert Lea. Come see our wide variety of western apparel, everything from fine dress clothes to work-wear, whatever you need from head to toe. Our Kennewick location, has over 10,000 pairs of western and work boots on hand! We carry a full line of truck toolboxes, and truck beds, and we are the largest supplier of enclosed and utility trailers in eastern Washington. We have everything you might need for your lawn and garden needs. We are your source for every animal health and tack need. We also carry livestock handling equipment, including a full selection of fencing. For those cold winter nights, relax with a Pendleton blanket and one of our large selection of wood/pellet stoves. We look forward to seeing you!
