Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) was established in year 2003 and is now a part of Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), functioning under the aegis of Parul University (PU), with a vision to impart quality education for the budding engineers and technocrats aspiring to make their mark in the 21st century's competitive global market. Parul Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) is AICTE approved and offers under graduate, post graduate & Ph. D. programs in various branches of Engineering. National Board of Accreditation (NBA) granted accreditation to five (05) Undergraduate courses (i. e. BE Computer Science & Engineering; BE Electrical Engineering; BE Electronics & Communication; BE Mechanical Engineering valid for 3 years from 01.02.2009 to 31.01.2012 and B.E. Civil Engineering valid for 3 years from 16.09.2011 to 15.09.2014) and two (02) Postgraduate programs (i.e. ME Electronics & Communication Engineering valid for 3 years from 05.08.2013 to 04.08.2016 and ME Thermal Engineering valid for 3 years from 01.07.2016 to 30.06.2019). Further, Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology was also accredited by NAAC (UGC) valid for 5 years from 31.12.2009 to 30.12.2014. Institute has succeeded in distinguishing itself in the aspects of Quality Teaching, Highly qualified Faculty Members and state of the art campus. PIET is enriched by the presence of more than 70 teachers from renowned academic institutions like IITs and NITs. PIET has around 300+ International students from various corners of the world admitted in different courses. Many of our engineering students from different disciplines have been awarded Gold Medals for their excellent academic performance by Gujarat Technological University (GTU) during their Bachelor's & Master's Program. MOUs are made with reputed foreign universities which provide opportunities for interaction with foreign professors and students through faculty and students exchange programs
