Paperchine’s history is rooted in Manchester England when JWI Group began as Manchester Wire Works in 1790. Since then, the JWI Group moved to North America, became JohnsonFoils and merged with Asten Manufacturing in 1999 to become AstenJohnson. Pre-merger Paperchine, Inc. began as a vision shared by four former Beloit Corporation executives who were determined to establish a U.S. based company composed of top professionals dedicated to the paper industry. The company was formed in March 2000, and has successfully grown to its present state today.
