What Is PAR Electrical Contractors?
PAR is one of the largest and most respected outside plant electrical contracting companies in North America. We have the best people in the business. More than 2,000 professionals deliver the technical skill and physical capacity to respond safely, quickly and cost effectively to any project. Based in Kansas City, Missouri, PAR has permanent offices across the nation as well as temporary offices near its work sites. This national presence and local strength allows PAR to serve its clients safely and efficiently. PAR's original owners had the foresight to see how evolving economic conditions would affect electrical utilities and other power generators. They were the driving force behind the four companies that formed Quanta Services. This forward thinking group knew that outsourcing the design, installation, repair and maintenance of transmission and distribution networks would be an attractive alternative for utilities and power generators. Now utility staff could continue to concentrate on strategic goals and serving customers through outsourcing tactical tasks. With Quanta established, PAR was more than ready to meet industry demands. As a member of the Quanta family, PAR draws on a full range of pooled resources; a benefit that differentiates PAR from its competitors. Not only does PAR have access to the largest staff of qualified union line crew personnel in the United States, it also has access to more than 20,000 pieces of equipment. PAR's field employees are members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). In addition, six of PAR's officers hold positions in the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). This strong IBEW/NECA connection provides our clients with uniquely trained, highly productive and safety-oriented personnel. In this time of acute labor shortages, the availability of qualified line crews is critical. PAR can meet all your labor needs-a claim many contractors make but can't deliver like PAR.
