Providing full emergency services, New York Community Hospital is a designated 911 receiving hospital and a New York designated Stroke Center. Operating on a 24 hour 7 day a week schedule the hospital has both basic life support and advanced life support Ambulances serving the southern tier communities of Brooklyn. Among the outpatient services that are available they include Ambulatory Surgery, Pain Management, Ophthalmology.  Ambulatory Surgery services are comprehensive, covering many areas of specialization including Gastroenterology, Urology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Endocrinology, Consultative Phycology, Lithotripsy and General Surgery. Fully staffed Operating Room Suites are available on a 24 hour 7 days a week schedule with around the clock Board Certified Anesthesiology coverage.
