What Is NCGrowth?

NCGrowth is the EDA University Center at UNC-Chapel Hill. Our work centers on helping businesses grow and supporting responsible economic development in the most economically distressed regions of North Carolina.\r\n \r\nNCGrowth promotes sustainable economic growth with funding from EDA, ZSR, GoldenLEAF, and the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise. Multi-disciplinary teams of staff, faculty, graduate students, consultants, and experts work with local governments and nonprofit organizations to assist with long-term economic planning and conduct feasibility studies to determine the best allocation of limited government resources. Additionally, NCGrowth's Entrepreneur Technical Assistance Program (E-TAP) pairs teams of staff and experienced MBA graduate students with businesses to provide strategic technical support. The Director and staff of NCGrowth and the Kenan Institute build working relationships with faculty across the UNC system as well as develop partnerships with consultants and other experts.\r\n \r\nNCGrowth recruits graduate students from a variety of professional programs. At UNC-Chapel Hill, NCGrowth faculty and graduate student participants have been enlisted from the Kenan-Flagler business school, Department of City and Regional Planning, School of Government, Gillings School of Global Public Health, School of Law, and School of Education among others. The program has also had faculty and graduate student participants from East Carolina University, North Carolina Central University, North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina – Pembroke, Duke University, Wesleyan University, and University of Central Florida.\r\n\r\nLearn more: http://www.ncgrowth.unc.edu \r\nFollow: https://twitter.com/NCGrowth
