Muzinich & Co., Inc. was founded as a privately-owned company in New York in 1988. In September of 1990, Muzinich began providing institutional investors with credit-intensive management of U.S. high yield corporate bond portfolios utilizing the same strategies, controls, and disciplines in place today. A London office was opened in 1999 to manage European corporate credits. Muzinich, since its beginning, has focused on a relationship-based institutional business that has stressed the importance of producing consistently attractive risk-adjusted returns. Today, Muzinich remains privately-owned and independent, with approximately fifty employees in three offices and $6 billion under management in North American and European corporate credits.
