Mood Indigo, popularly known as Mood-I or MI is the annual college cultural festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Initiated by a bunch of music enthusiasts with a meagre amount of Rs. 5000 in 1971, it has become Asia's largest college festival in it's successful journey of 47 years. Over 141k people attended 230+ events held in the last year's fest which had a reach to over 1700+ colleges. Mood Indigo includes phenomenal and gripping performances by artists of both national ( Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Vishal Shekhar, Adnan Sami, Lata Mangeshkar,, Indian Ocean, Parikrama) and international fame (Simple Plan, Epica, Porcupine Tree, DJ VINAI, Sander Van Doon etc. ).
