Forty years ago, John Kozma founded Modern Dispersions in Gardner, MA. John developed a business that flourished by providing excellent pigment dispersion in a range of thermoplastics based on two roll mill technology. MDI's business grew because of the commitment to quality, responsiveness to customers' desire for value, dedication to customer performance requirements and a determined willingness to tackle challenging compounding and concentrate product development for customers. John's success allowed him to expand the business and bring in the next generation of the Kozma family. MDI now employees over 200 people in two locations - Leominster, MA and Fitzgerald, GA. At these two sites, compound and concentrate capacity now exceeds 200 millions pound per year. Although business has grown over the years, MDI still embraces John's original passion and commitment to customer satisfaction.
