What Is Mini Miracles?
Empowering children through animal assisted activities. Mini Miracles Inc is a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to helping children in Southern Arizona. Children and animals are a natural combination and make great companions. For children with special needs, the companionship is invaluable, as they may have trouble making friends because of low self esteem. Animals give children an opportunity to connect with another living being, which is extremely important to any childs development. Animal assisted activities provide opportunities for motivation, education, or recreation to enhance quality of life. Animal assisted activities are delivered in a variety of environments by specially trained professionals, paraprofessionals, or volunteers in association with aimals that meet specific criteria.
