Micronic Technologies has developed an advanced state-of-the-art water treatment system, Tornadic One-Pass™ (TOP™), that removes virtually all contaminants from any source water. Start-up capital, patents, facility development, two lab prototypes, third party independent testing, one state, and four federal grants, and a planned $1.2M facility build out; pepper its dynamic six-year history. With $3M in funding, the company is rapidly moving toward satisfying agricultural and mining wastewater markets initially, to be followed by the military and oil and gas sectors. Tornadic One-Pass™ (TOP™) cleans contaminated water and provides increased throughput and projected significant savings in capital expenditures and operational costs compared to the competition. Independent tests verify it effectively removes ultra-high total dissolved solids, suspended solids, bacteria, and heavy metals in one pass without chemicals, filters, or membranes. The evaporator creates a “tornado” producing micro-droplets of water for rapid evaporation under low pressure and heat. With 95% efficiency, waste volume for disposal is greatly reduced.
