What Is Michigan Aeronautical Science Association (MASA)?
MASA is a student engineering team at the University of Michigan, and we teach students about the basics of rocketry while providing hands-on exposure to the design, build, and test phases of engineering. In 2017, MASA won the inaugural Spaceport America Cup, and in 2018, we launched the very first student-built liquid-bipropellant rocket at the competition. Follow our progress as we compete for a $1 million prize and prepare to launch to space.
