Memorial Union (MU) - Oregon State University Revenue and Competitors

Opened nearly 90 years ago as a memorial to students who gave their lives in World War 1, the Memorial Union continues to be a hub of activity and interaction for campus. The MU houses many programs and offices including the Student ID Center, the MU Basement (Billiards & Bowling), the Graduate Student Lounge, the Veterans Lounge, and the MU Graphic Design Studio, Express Stop (printing & mailing services) as well as many restaurants including Java Stop Coffee Shop, Pangea Cafe, Bites convenience store, and the Commons (various food options). The MU also contains various meeting rooms and events spaces including the illustrious MU Ballroom, the ever popular MU Main Lounge and the brand new Studio 65. The Student Experience Center located next door to the MU also houses various programs and offices of the MU including; the Center for Civic Engagement, the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life, Team Liberation, Student Leadership and Involvement, Orange Media Network (Student Media, The Daily Barometer, KBVR-TV, KBVR-FM and the Prism), the Craft Center, the Student Events and Activities Center, the Memorial Union Program Council, the Auxiliaries & Activities Business Center, ASOSU (Student Government), and the Etihad Cultural Center.
