We are a local government authority responsible for the City of Melton. The City of Melton is located in Melbourne's outer western suburbs. Spanning approximately 530 square kilometres, bordered by Djerrwarrh Creek and the Wombat State Forest, the City of Melton is a combination of urban and rural living. It is located at a comfortable commuting distance from Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat. We are a young municipality with a large proportion (over 70%) of residents under 45 years of age.
