McMahon Associates, Inc. has provided transportation planning, engineering and design services to federal, state, regional, and local (government) agencies, as well as select private sector (commercial) clients. Founded by Joseph McMahon, P.E., Chairman and CEO in 1976, McMahon now maintains a staff of over 150 full-time talented engineers and support professionals in fifteen offices along the East Coast. Throughout our history, McMahon has worked with many public and private clients. We have consequently become knowledgeable of, and sensitive to, issues related to each sector's responsibilities and the need for effective planning and engineering of transportation infrastructure to accommodate growth and protect the public's safety. As a result, we offer a wide range of transportation consulting services, including transportation planning, traffic studies, data collection, land survey, traffic signal design, safety studies, highway/intersection design, pavement design, bridge design and inspection, transit planning, water resources and dam design, Intelligent Transportation Solutions (ITS), and applications development/Geographic Information Systems (GIS), as well as construction observation and management.
