McGill Athletics Revenue and Competitors

McGill University is one of Canada's best-known institutions of higher learning and one of the leading universities in the world. With students coming to McGill from some 150 countries, our student body is the most internationally diverse of any research-intensive university in the country.\n\nOne of the hallmarks of McGill's tradition is the tremendous ability to balance academic excellence with extracurricular activities. Thousands of McGill students participate in our programs daily which contributes to a vibrant campus life.\n\nConsistent with the mission and values of McGill University, we are dedicated to build a community of ambassadors who live, practice and share the benefits of sport, fitness and an active lifestyle.\n\nWe are proud to boast 28 different intercollegiate teams with an outstanding athletic program that has won several championship titles. To date it has produced 120 Olympians including NHL coach Mike Babcock, swimmers Dick Pound and Marianne Limpert and hockey players Kim St-Pierre, Charline Labonté, Catherine Ward and Mélodie Daoust.\n\nWe also have numerous competitive clubs, a dynamic Intramural program plus an extensive Fitness and Recreation offering.
