McCarl,s Inc. is an American success story , founded on a superior work ethic and dedication to a value system that has kept it in the forefront of its industry and consistently ranked as one of the top fifty mechanical contractors in the country. McCarl,s Inc. was founded in 1946 by Foster McCarl Jr. who started the company with a dream and a $4,000 G.I. loan. Known then as McCarl,s Plumbing & Heating, the company sold furnaces and cast iron sinks and offered residential plumbing & heating services. Foster McCarl,s keen business sense and reputation for dependability enabled McCarl,s to win bigger contracts and to expand into the industrial and commercial industries. In 1968, F. James McCarl joined the company. He began as a Draftsman and eventually assumed the title of President & CEO. Through his planning and organizational skills, the company became a highly recognized name in the mechanical contracting industry. He held this office until his retirement in 2003. In 1980, Robert W. Santillo joined the company. Through his hard work and dedication, he climbed the corporate ladder. In 2003, he was promoted to the position of President of McCarl,s Inc. His knowledge and vision continue to keep the company in the forefront of this ever-changing industry.
