Mast-Jägermeister UK is the first wholly owned subsidiary outside of Germany and is solely responsible for the distribution of Jägermeister, the UK's Number One best-selling speciality spirit. Jägermeister is a family owned brand and a unique herbal spirit that was developed by Curt Mast from a secret recipe. Launched in Germany over 80 years ago, Jägermeister uses a blend of 56 different herbs and spices - which has not changed since it was first made. The botanical ingredients are extracted in their raw, unprocessed form through a gentle, weeks-long process of cold maceration to create Jägermeister's base. The base, housed in more than 400 oak casks, then "breathes" for one full year. Jägermeister is an incredibly versatile spirit that can be used to create a range of long drinks and cocktails.
