What Is Making Waves Academy?
Making Waves Academy opened in 2007, serving annual classes of 112 incoming 5th graders from underserved communities in the East Bay, with comprehensive programming and services offered through our Middle and Upper Schools. We continue to support our Wave-makers through college graduation; in partnership with the College and Alumni Program at Making Waves Foundation, students from our first two graduating classes of the Upper School are receiving coaching and financial support while attending college. Making Waves Foundation has served the Richmond, CA community since 1989.
