Since 1942, the Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) has helped public employees prepare for retirement. \n\nIn addition to administering public pension plans, we also offer Disability Retirement, Group Life Insurance, and tax-deferred retirement savings programs for many of our participating member employers. To help administer these programs, we employee individuals with backgrounds in information technology, customer service, claims processing, financial administration, investment administration, data analysis, and benefit computation with an overarching emphasis on providing excellent member services.\n\nMainePERS is a dynamic organization that seeks to hire individuals who are self-motivated team players. \n\nWe offer a generous benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation and sick leave, life insurance, along with a qualifying defined benefit pension plan and opportunities to participate in defined contribution plans.
