When Maden Technologies was founded in 1986, the information technology industry was nascent. Few people outside of the federal government and a handful of entrepreneurs envisioned what a powerful economic force the industry would become. Fewer still recognized how the nation's future dependency on the exchange of information would impact our economy, security, privacy, and overall quality of life. In our early years, Maden Technologies was known as a leading provider of research and development services for the Department of Defense. Against this backdrop, we have pioneered technology advancements for protecting data and network systems. Our credentials include converting the Department of Defense's e-mail application to a secure wireless system for the battlefield, and an identity management program for the US Army that supports more than 1.9 million users. We are a GSA-certified HSPD-12 solutions provider, further enhancing our suite of HSPD-12 solutions and services. I'm proud of our accomplishments thus far. Our focus is now on the future and providing new, more effective ways of supporting our customers ' missions. We are not a static organization. Our long-term strategy is to continue evolving our security services and information assurance offerings.
