MITO sets standards for the automotive, transport, logistics, industrial textile fabrication and extractive industries through national qualifications. We provide leadership regarding skill and training needs for the industries and promote career pathways for people who work or want to work in these industries. We work with learners and apprentices, their employers and training providers to ensure people get the best possible opportunities to learn, and each year, we help thousands of New Zealanders gain the workplace skills they need to succeed.
