MEAG Power is a premier joint action agency providing wholesale electric power to 49 communities around the state of Georgia. Also known as the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia, we are a not for profit organization that co-owns two nuclear and two coal-fired generating plants, has sole ownership of a natural gas combined cycle facility, as well as ownership of more than 1,300 miles of high-voltage transmission lines and nearly 200 substations.
