MBA Engineers, formerly Marlin, Bridges and Associates, is a multi-discipline engineering firm head-quartered in Birmingham, Alabama. MBA began as a structural engineering firm in 1928. In 2010, MBA added civil engineering and now provides design and consulting for both disciplines, creating synergy and value for clients. Having nearly 100 years of experience and having designed over 13,000 projects, chances are, if there is a unique or challenging project, MBA has done it or something like it, before. MBA has designed numerous high profile projects throughout its history, including: Regions Field Baseball Park ($65 million), Westin Hotel, ($35 million), Birmingham Airport Terminal Modernization ($160 million), Auburn University Basketball Arena ($61 million), CrossPlex Indoor Track and Natatorium ($41 million), 34-Floor Southtrust Tower (1986), BJCC Addition ($47 million), Brookwood Hospital Addition ($50, million), Madison Hospital ($52 million), Protective Life Corp Office Building and Parking ($50million), US Federal Courthouse - Tuscaloosa ($30 million), Jefferson County Courthouse and Jail - Bessemer, AL ($31 + $11.5 million), as well as numerous schools across Alabama (Gardendale, Huffman, Bessemer, etc.).
