Green became President in 1933. Robert E. Green became President in 1973 and Chairman in 1992. Also in 1992 John A. Green was elected President and CEO and Marc A. Green, Vice Chairman. Robert Green is a former president of both The Jewelers of America and The Jewelers Vigilance Committee and is former director of the Jewelry Industry Council, American Gem Society and the Jewelers Security Alliance. Marc and John Green maintain a high profile in many community, civic and jewelry industry activities. The proceeds of a Charity Golf Tournament that Lux Bond & Green conducts annually has brought in over $215,000 for Hartford, charities. The tournament now donates all the proceeds to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Lux Bond & Green operates nine stores in Hartford, West Hartford, Glastonbury, Greenwich, The Shops at the Mohegan Sun Casino, Westport, South Windsor, Wellesley and Boston.
