Luke International (LIN) works to restore human’s health and dignity through building bridges between local and international development partners, creating interfaces between health and technology, and advocating and serving where the needs are greatest. We believe that our greatest strength lies in “togetherness,” where 1 plus 1 can be much greater than 2. LIN was founded in 1997 in Oslo, Norway. With its global networking ability, LIN gathered professions and experts from multidisciplinary domains to foster on its development works. Health informatics, health equity, and global health development are the three major areas that LIN commits to work for. Rooted in Norway, LIN started with networking between Taiwan and Norway for health care provider to learn diaconal, holistic care and ministerial quality of care. LIN started its development works in Malawi in 2008 and in South Africa in 2013. LIN has been working together with the hosting society and development partners to build bridges between them, achieving the noble value of humanity. LIN believes that to restore human’s health and dignity is a progressive journey and people have to actively assist and encourage each other.
