The Louisiana Public Health Institute (LPHI) is an independent 501(c)(3) organization established in 1997. We are part of a growing movement of public health institutes in America. Our mission is to promote and improve the health and quality of life in Louisiana through public-private partnering at the community, parish and state levels. LPHI offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in improving the health of our state. We have programs in tobacco control, health promotion, access to health care and disease prevention. We are looking for ambitious, hardworking, `thinkers' to assist us in meeting the expectations of our funding partners and agencies.
