What Is London Overground Rail Operations?

LOROL is the train operating company responsible for running the London Overground network under a Concession Agreement with Transport for London (TfL). TfL and LOROL work closely to deliver high quality rail services.\r\n \r\nLOROL was formed by combining two of the most reliable and customer focused railways in the world and is a joint venture company between MTR Corporation of Hong Kong (50%) and Deutsche Bahn AG (50%) of Germany (DB). DB’s interest is managed by Arriva, the division responsible for regional passenger transport outside of Germany.\r\n \r\nSince 2007, we have been actively transforming the London Overground, modernising the service, improving facilities and providing a better, safer, more environmentally efficient and comfortable experience for our passengers. Our vision is ‘developing our railway together, proudly connecting communities around London’ and we aim to achieve this through our people, our greatest asset.\r\n\r\nTfL employs a dedicated team to work alongside LOROL at our main office in Swiss Cottage and they take a close interest in how we deliver the service; ranging from the punctuality of trains and customer service at stations, to our readiness to operate new routes such as the East London Line and the soon to be transfered West Anglia Inners route.\r\n\r\nRead more about LOROL at www.lorol.co.uk and how we plan to keep improving our service http://www.lorol.co.uk/go/about-us/improving-our-service \r\n\r\nTo find out more about what it's like to work at LOROL, watch the short film https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T03ruXHUmpM and search for vacancies here http://www.lorol.co.uk/go/careers/vacancies.\r\n\r\nYou can also find out more about the London Overground network on the TfL website http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modes/london-overground/?cid=fs182.
