Lingvist Revenue and Competitors

Lingvist is committed to building the most efficient language learning tool for on the go learners. We believe in possibilities enabled by communication. We make a powerful, unique tool widely available, so that more people have the capacity to express and understand each other. The Lingvist prototype was created at CERN by one of our co-founders, employing the machine-learning algorithms that were used to discover the Higgs boson. The leader of Skype's core technology team then joined as a co-founder and CTO to scale the product. We are an alumnus of TechStars London and have raised seed capital from Skype founder Jaan Tallinn, TechStars, Smartcap, and Inventure. We have also secured an additional €1.6m of EU funding under the Horizon 2020 scheme and raised $8 million in Series A funding led by Rakuten. Join us to contribute to the science of learning for all.
