We are actively building a new kind of self-learning agent that can tackle problems that are beyond the capacity of current technologies. By combining modern machine learning with a constuctivist system of knowledge creation, Leela (our agent) can explore her environment, learn how it works, and then, create common sense knowledge without any rewards or supervision, and use this knowledge to make explainable plans and decisions. Using a novel embodied language-concept architecture, Leela is able to understand and speak with a much deeper level of understanding of meaning than current systems. The Leela platform will be able to support many use cases because the architecture is sensor-space- and action-space- independent, and more information on our use cases will be posted in the near future.
