We are LeeSar, a state-of-the-art, regional healthcare supply chain management company. We were established in 1998 as the result of a cooperative effort by the CEOs of two major southwest Florida hospital systems. Visionaries Jim Nathan, President of Lee Memorial Healthcare system, and Dr. Finlay, Former President of Sarasota Memorial Healthcare system, believed that by vertically integrating, self-distribution (LeeSar) and self-contracting (Cooperative Services of Florida - CSF), millions of dollars per year would be saved in the acquisition of medical supplies, capital equipment and service contracts. Although we are big enough to enjoy economies of scale, we have chosen to remain small enough so that our clients' voices are still heard. In fact, because of this we are considered an industry leader. We are able to deliver the goods that our member hospitals require within 24 hours ---- 98% of the time.
