Lagardère Travel Retail the Netherlands has been franchise holder of all fashion shops behind the customs at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol since 1971. The fashion shops, located in each of the three departure halls and on the piers and have a total sales area of 2,200m2. They carry a wide range of international brands in ladies, gentlemen's and children's fashion and accessories. Lagardère Travel Retail's brand portfolio includes Hermès, Gucci, Ferragamo, Burberry, Zegna, Tumi, Hugo Boss, Polo Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Guess, Ugg's and, very recently, Victoria's Secret (Lagardère Travel Retail the Netherlands is the first European airport with a Victoria's Secret concept store). In 2008 Gerzon took over the Leather & Travel franchise from Mimex Airport Retailers B.V. This takeover was supported by Amsterdam Airport Retail and they expressed their confidence by entering into an exclusive 15-year contract with us. In cooperation with suppliers and the airport, Gerzon is anticipating positive growth in the coming years. For Gerzon, the takeover has meant a direct expansion in the number of employees (now more than 260) and sales points and the possibility to present a brand's complete lifestyle (clothes and leather accessories); Gerzon can now dress a customer from head to toe and provide matching accessories! In June and July 2011 Gerzon opened new brand shops in the completely renovated Lounge 3: Victoria's Secret, Hermès and Burberry. For Schiphol and Gerzon, opening these dedicated brand shops behind passport control, beside the familiar multi-brand shops, is a big step towards the future. In 2016 we opened 4 new luxurious brand shops in Lounge 2: Hermès, Burberry, Bottega Veneta & Gucci.keywords:N/A
