What Is Barmakian Jewelers?

Barmakian Jewelers is committed to being an active part of the community that we work and live in. The company and our employees, donate time and financial resources to many local organizations in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire areas. Barmakian Jewelers is proud to support the Danforth Museum of Art. Established as a grass roots organization in 1975 by a committed group of citizens, the museum has grown to become a vital cultural resource in the MetroWest community. Located in Framingham, 30 miles west of Boston, the Museum provides visitors with entertaining and educational experiences in the visual arts. The Home for Little Wanderers is a nationally renowned, private, non-profit child and family service agency providing services to more than 10,000 children and families each year through over 30 programs that are measurably changing lives. The mission of The Home is to ensure the healthy development of children at risk, their families and communities through an integrated system of prevention, advocacy, research and a continuum of direct services. With a history dating back to 1799, The Home for Little Wanderers is one of the oldest child welfare agencies in the nation, and the largest in New England. We were honored to host The Light Foundation Casino Night Fundraiser at Barmakian Jewelers in Framingham on October 4, 2004. The Light Foundation was established by New England Patriot Matt Light and his father William Light. The Foundation promotes community responsibility and hard work, which are values that serve Matt well and are emphasized by his family. As an NFL player, Matt realizes he is in a position to make a great impact on the lives of those less fortunate in his community. All proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction went to this great organization. It was a special one night of extraordinary savings in November, 2004, on all fine jewelry, watches, gifts and more. We tried on gorgeous diamonds, enjoyed fabulous hors d'oeuvres and dipped into a fountain of Swan Chocolate. Previewed the new BMWs and sipped some fine scotch. Viewed the latest fashions from Junz paired with elegant hairstyles created by Cassandra. Plus, guests bid on dazzling items at the silent auction benefiting the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua.
