What Is Klein College of Media and Communication?

Temple’s Klein College of Media and Communication ranks among the largest, most comprehensive colleges of its kind in the country, and is considered the Philadelphia region’s leading provider of media employees. The college now enrolls approximately 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students and employs more than 70 full-time faculty members. Here at Klein College, academic and creative exchanges occur between and among a wide variety of disciplines. The college offers cross-disciplinary programs in communication studies; public relations; advertising; journalism; media studies and production; and communication and social influence. Students complete courses of study leading to the Doctor of Philosophy; Master of Arts; Master of Journalism; Master of Science; or Bachelor of Arts. Our professors and students are a group of talented, motivated individuals who are exploring the role of communication in public life through creative performance, hard news reporting, and commercially-oriented media.
