IHG® Hotels & Resorts’ boutique luxury brand Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants will open its first property in France next spring. Located in Paris’ most vibrant district, Kimpton St Honoré will feature 149 sophisticated guestrooms and aims to become one of the trendiest places of the city with an outstanding culinary offer and a rooftop bar. Kimpton St Honoré Paris will open in the Opera Garnier neighbourhood, a stone’s throw away from the Place Vendôme, the Tuileries Garden and the Louvre museum, in the heritage building of the former luxury department store “Samaritaine de Luxe”. The most anticipated hotel will preserve its landmark 1917 Art Nouveau facades and design elements such as a dramatic staircase. Famed French interior designer Charles Zana is transforming this 1900’s jewel to bring Kimpton’s elegant and playful design, with 149 guestrooms (including 24 suites), an indoor swimming pool, gym and a spa with luxury treatment rooms. Reflecting Parisian effervescent lifestyle, the hotel interiors elements are inspired by 1930’s Art Deco with a contemporary twist for a uniquely residential comfort. Its light-filled ground-floor’s Californian-inspired restaurant and rooftop bar located on the 10th floor will make it a must go address in the City of Light.
