Founded in 1997, Keopsys revolutionized the way to pump fiber doped amplifiers, based on a proprietary idea to couple light into the fiber: the VSP (V groove Side Pumping). The company quickly diversifies from Telecom applications to Scientific Research and Defense applications. Among the first products developed by Keopsys, were pulsed fiber lasers at 1.5µm: PEFL-KULT. Designed for on board applications, this robust and reliable laser is nowadays still available and offers different ranges of output pulse energy. Becoming a mid-size company, thanks to the acquisition of the 3SP Group assets and with more than 500 optical solutions, Keopsys manufacturing process is more and more vertically integrated, providing the benefit of mastering quality. Keopsys focus its activities and product development on LIDAR, Defense and Scientific Research applications, offering high performance fiber lasers and amplifiers covering the optical spectrum from 355 to 2100nm. Keopsys is headquartered in France, with commercial desks: Keopsys Inc : Whitehall PA USA, and Keopsys China : Shanghai, both managing with highly skilled sales engineers.
