There are few women in the entertainment industry today who have achieved what actress, model, singer, and film producer Katie Chonacas has at such a young age. From producing films starring A-list actors like Forrest Whitaker, to touring Spain and South Africa with megastar 50 Cent, and appearing in top television series such as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Katie Chonacas is multitalented in nearly every facet of the industry. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Katie always had star power in her veins. Katie quickly became known for her fresh faced, undeniable beauty and went on to book jobs with top brands. Her ads went on to land her modeling jobs with magazines as well, including MAXIM, KURV, 944, BEST BODY, STUFF, MIA, YRB, and ANGELINO As Katie lived and worked in Los Angeles, she made a successful crossover from modeling into acting, landing roles on top television series. She also excelled in film, as she booked supporting roles in MAJOR MOVIE STAR as “Amber” starring Jessica Simpson and THE CODE as “June” starring Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas. Now, in 2009 Katie can be seen in three films to be released over the next six months. First, on July 28, 2009 Katie can be seen as “Cecilia” appearing alongside Val Kilmer, Sharon Stone, and 50 Cent in the action thriller film STREETS OF BLOOD. Then, on August 14, 2009 Katie will appear in the horror/thriller film A PERFECT GETAWAY with actors Chris Hemsworth, Timothy Olyphant, Milla Jovich, and Steve Zahn. Lastly, on December 2, 2009 Katie will appear alongside Nicholas Cage, Val Kilmer, Eva Mendes, and Fairuza Balk as “Tina” in the crime drama film BAD LIUETENANT: PORT OF CALL NEW ORLEANS directed by top filmmaker Werner Herzog. In addition to her films, Katie will be producing the highly anticipated film JEYYLL AND MR. HYDE, starring Forrest Whitaker and 50 Cent, and SCARED STRAIGHT starring Nicholas Cage, slated to start filming late summer 2009.
