We’re a charity working with women, children and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse\n\nWe cover Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City and Rushcliffe. We run a wide range of services including the 24 hour Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Freephone Domestic and Sexual Violence Helpline. This is where you can speak to one of our specialist trained female support workers 365 days a year.\n\nWe’ve been doing this for almost 40 years and we’re passionate about helping anyone affected by domestic abuse women and their children to stay as safe as possible and to recover from the harm of domestic abuse.\n\nWe offer\nCrisis support and drop ins\nOngoing one to one support\nRefuge accommodation (BMER and Dispersed Refuge service)\n12 week healthy relationship programmes (The Freedom Programme)\nTherapeutic groups for mums and children\nOne to one support for teenagers\nFoster care for family pets\nA bit about us\nWe run a wide range of services including the 24 hour Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Freephone Domestic and Sexual Violence Helpline.\n\nThis year marks 40 years of Empowering women and children to live free from abuse.\n\nIn June 2019 we changed our name from WAIS (Women’s Aid Integrated Services) to JUNO Women's Aid.\n\nIn the last 12 months ... we’ve worked with 5,080 women...612 children and young people fostered 69 pets and taken 10,371 calls on our Helpline\n\nAt any one time we're supporting 500-600 women and children in Nottingham and south Nottinghamshire.
