With a strong focus on quality, patient safety, and exceptional customer service, we are committed to serving the health care needs of our patients and families from Burlington, Waterdown, Flamborough, Stoney Creek, East Hamilton and beyond. We have a highly skilled staff of 175 physicians, 1,400 full-time and part-time professional care staff, and more than 600 active Auxiliary volunteers. \r\n\r\nJBH offers a wide range of patient programs and services including Medicine, Surgery, Emergency, Maternal and Child, Mental Health and Rehabilitation/Complex Continuing Care, as well as a number of clinical services such as cancer care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, diabetes care, speech language pathology and opthaimology. \r\n\r\nLocated in the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant (HNHB) LHIN (#4), JBH collaborates with other health service providers in several key clinical and administrative areas to establish and enhance continuums of care and maximize efficiency. \r\n\r\nOn August 10, 2011, the Ontario Government announced its approval of the Joseph Brant Hospital Redevelopment and Expansion Project, an initiative that will give patients and families in the Burlington and surrounding area better access to state-of-the-art health care that is closer to home.\r\n\r\nOur Hospital’s Critical Needs are funded by JBH Foundation, founded in 1976. The Foundation’s focus is on engaging the Community, donors and partners through innovative collaboration to achieve our philanthropic goals. With your support, our aim is to create the best health care for our Community. \r\n\r\nThe Foundation is governed by a team of Community volunteer leaders, and is managed by a dedicated staff of professionals who ensure that every donation is used effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of patients and their families.
