What Is Jobcare?
Jobcare believes that Working Matters. That is why we're committed to working with people caught in the trap of unemployment. Operating out of a Christian ethos, Jobcareâ??s purpose is to help people gain the skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to secure appropriate work. Jobcare provides innovative training, resource services and transitional work programmes to effectively equip unemployed people with the employability skills necessary to secure and sustain work in a constantly changing employment landscape, or where appropriate, to progress into further education as part of that journey to work. Partnering with business ensures a relevant service offering for our jobseekers.\nWe currently have up to 55 people on our transitional work programmes at any given time. Alongside a small full-time team, our workforce has always been comprised of work programme participants. This ensures an empathy between staff and clients as our workforce are themselves jobseekers, developing skills and gaining experience in Jobcare in order to enable them to secure appropriate employment. Since 2008, our transitional work programme has included participants who are ex-offenders as part of our â??Trasnaâ?? programme- an award-winning programme developed by Jobcare. \nWe provide a number of training courses as well as resource services. Our 4-week Jobseekers Course has been a constant throughout Jobcareâ??s 20+ years. We also provide one-on-one CV and jobsearch help for jobseekers in our Resource Room as well as career coaching from volunteer executive coaches and workshops provided by volunteer staff from business partner organisations. In 2010, we designed â??Jobnetâ??, an award-winning programme for jobseeking professionals. We also provide computer training workshops. \nWe're passionate about providing an effective and professional service, but also about HOW we provide that service to individuals. Working Matters!\n\nCHY11301/ Charity Registration Number 20030643
