The Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado raises and distributes funds to nearly 90 local partners and 60 overseas organizations. Our Federation has come to serve as an umbrella organization providing operating support for many of the Jewish communal agencies of Colorado, helping to streamline services and maximize cost effectiveness. Locally, Federation supports programs that feed the hungry, care for the elderly, educate the young, and so much more. Overseas our Federation primarily supports the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Joint Distribution Committee. Together we serve Jews in 60 countries around the world. The Federation, whose partners include synagogues, agencies, organizations, benefactors and stakeholders, works to provide services that shape and guide a caring community. Because of you, we are able to impact Jewish lives as we continue to build and sustain Jewish life in Colorado, Israel and around the world. However, Federation believes it must take care of Jews not only today, but also tomorrow and forever. Future generations will come to rely on Federation to fund the agencies and organizations that are closest to their heart. By creating the Center for Jewish Philanthropy, our future starts now. The Center will provide individuals, families and funding organizations with sophisticated new ways to fulfill their philanthropic goals-and get the best possible return on their investments. This unique forum also will enable philanthropists to establish a legacy of giving for their children and grandchildren ...progressing the Jewish people for generations to come.
