The purpose of Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy is to integrate Jewish studies with a rigorous college preparatory program and to nurture social, intellectual, and ethical development along with a commitment to Jewish values and to the Jewish community in a pluralistic setting. Barrack Hebrew Academy encourages the enrollment of young persons who demonstrate both the aptitude and the motivation to engage in serious study of the texts and concepts which are central to the Jewish and Western traditions. The goal of Barrack Hebrew Academy is to graduate young persons who have the facility and familiarity with English and Hebrew language and literature, the basic texts of the Jewish and Western traditions, and the body of knowledge and experience required for constructive participation in a democratic society and in Jewish life. Barrack Hebrew Academy welcomes students from all segments of the Jewish community and works to ensure that all qualified students, regardless of means, will be enabled to attend.
