Intek Plastics, Inc. is a supplier of custom plastic extrusions serving the point-of-purchase market and is located in Hawthorne, NJ. Our employees are dedicated to customer service and continuous improvement. We currently are seeking an Administrative Support Representative for our Hawthorne facility. The selected candidate will be an integral part of our team assisting with customer relationship management. Responsibilities include managing order processing to completion, providing customer solutions, verifying quotations and pricing, monitoring production schedules and processing leads. This individual will work in a team environment with both internal and external customers while supporting special projects and administrative requests. Qualified candidates will have: An undergraduate degree (preferred) 5 or more years of customer service experience Demonstrated effective interaction and communication skills, both verbal and written PC proficiency (MS Office, etc) Demonstrated organization, time management and problem solving skills Experience in plastics manufacturing in a continuous improvement (Lean Enterprise) environment (desirable) Intek offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) savings, and success sharing.
