Mission Statement: The mission of the Illinois Secretary of State Police is to enforce the Statutes and Administrative Code, as administered by the Secretary of State, providing specialized investigations and protective services to all those who live, work and conduct business in Illinois. Vision Statement: The Illinois Secretary of State Police is committed to conducting skilled investigations aimed at protecting the public against identity theft and fraud as it relates to documents involving driver’s licenses, ID cards, and vehicle titles and registrations. We strive to provide safety to persons traveling the Illinois roadways and professional protective service to those within the State Capitol Complex and Secretary of State facilities. We will continue to evolve as the unique police department we are, and as a leader amongst law enforcement agencies nationwide performing our duties at the highest ethical standards possible
