In 2009, the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences (AMPAS™) honoured TRANSVIDEO with a Scientific and Engineering Award for its video-assist monitors. In September 2010, TRANSVIDEO received the esteemed Cinec Award. In June 2013, TRANSVIDEO's holding company Ithaki acquired AATON, the French manufacturer of cinematic equipment. Since that time, AATON-Digital has developed the CantarX3, the most advanced on-location sound recorder which subsequently received a Cinec Award in 2014 and the IABM Design and Innovation Award in 2015.
